SMITS’ onions have a shelf life of at least eleven days, if stored at the right temperature. Our
onion coolbox offers the perfect solution for every chef who likes to keep a nice workflow,
without having to worry about quality loss.
Our onion coolbox is provided with a double wall, filled with a special gel. This way, SMITS’
sliced onions can be stored outside the refrigerator for hours, while retaining quality.
At an environment temperature of 25°C, SMITS' onion coolbox stays below 7°C, for at least 7
hours.
Both the inside and the outside as well as the lid are made of high-quality stainless steel.
Cold for up to 7 hours
At a temperature of about 25°C, the tray stays below 7°C for at least 7 hours. Make sure you close the container when you are not using onions.
Dishwasher safe
The container can withstand temperatures of up to 90°C and is therefore perfectly safe in the dishwasher.

INSTRUCTIONS
Before use: place SMITS's onion coolbox in the freezer for at least ten hours. When ready,
place outside the refrigerator and let the onion coolbox settle until the frost has gone. Fill the
container with 1kg of SMITS sliced or diced onions. To ensure the coolbox remains at the
right temperature, close it with the accompanying lid while working.
How to clean
Remove any remaining onions from the container and clean it. SMITS' onion coolbox is made
to resist temperatures up to 90°C, and is therefore suitable for dishwashers. Note: avoid
container dysfunction and bulges caused by sudden temperature differences. Do not move the
container directly from the dishwasher into the freezer.
